This school will be built in Dehno village in the center of Iran. The key to building sustainably in the desert is to protect the building and the surrounding urban spaces from the sun. So we will design an underground School to protect the building from bad climatic conditions.
The idea of the school is that it shouldn’t be used just for education, but also as a cultural center to help the rural community utilize it. So, we tried to design multifunctional spaces, for example, the school library also works with the village. Therefore, we offer to design two separate entrances that are connected.
